This is an antique nickel plated nutcracker or nut cracker made by the Heart or Hart Company, USA Pat Applied For 1900-1910.

The nutcracker measures 6 inches long and has flared double nut holder areas with teeth and hollow handles.

In our house growing up on the Pacific Coast, nutcrackers were more often than not used as crab crackers.

The antique nut cracker is in very good used vintage condition with some grime and a bit of nickel plating loss.
